In-house PR & Communications mentorship 

I am passionate about mentoring PR and communications professionals of the future and helping them in their journey to become the best they can be in their careers.

I have experience in a wide range of sectors which means I can adapt quickly to a business' needs and requirements.

In my very early career, I learnt SO much! I would always say to try everything and chuck yourself into any situation to gain experience. 

Those who work in PR and marketing understand that our jobs are completely random and our families probably don't know what we do. My greatest learning curves have come from things that didn't go really go as planned.

I have many stories of working in football clubs and managing press when players didn't turn up - and I had to announce to a full press conference room that the player wasn't coming in for interview - yes, at 11pm after a home defeat. I still think - how did I do that at 24 years old?!

I have had the privilege to manage and mentor many team members whilst in my employed work as a manager and it's so rewarding to see them fly in their careers now.

Now, just over a year as self-employed, I am offering my mentoring and training services to businesses that may have a one person comms team, or have people who require that extra bit of guidance from an outside perspective. 

What can I offer?
- One to one training and mentoring either as a one off or a block of sessions (training to include copywriting skills, how to manage time, the importance of attention to detail, how to manage expectations, how to generate ideas, how to conduct yourself in meetings to present ideas, education into the sector, do your own PR etc.
- A best practice guide for the professional to takeaway
- Regular contact after the training for any follow up questions and guidance
- General tips and tricks in how to be a successful comms professional
